Food & Fund Drives – Hosting a food or fund drive in your community is an enriching way to give back to your community and alleviate hunger in Northwest Indiana.

Interested in hosting a food drive through your company, group or neighborhood? We can help get you started. Fill out the form below and we’ll be in touch!

Consider hosting a fund drive by collecting monetary donations. Thanks to our organizational purchasing power, we can acquire a lot more food for every dollar donated than you can buy at the store.

Retail Food Donations – Did you know nearly 60% of the food acquired for distribution comes from donations?

Food manufacturers, processors, wholesalers, distributors, and farmers can donate surplus food to the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana. By making a donation to the Food Bank, these companies can keep quality food out of landfills, save on disposal fees, and feed our hungry neighbors. The Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Food Donor Act of 1996 protects companies, farmers, and even schools when making a donation to a food bank.

If you are interested in donating surplus food, call us today! The Operations Team at the Food Bank can arrange a pickup of large donations or deliveries. Contact Danielle O’Leary, Product Sourcing Coordinator for more information at doleary@foodbanknwi.org or 219.980.1777 x 320.
