As the situation with CORONAVIRUS (also known as COVID-19) continues to evolve, the Food Bank of Northwest is proactively taking measures to ensure that our hunger relief resources and services continue to be available to individuals and families facing hunger in Lake and Porter Counties. Hope For The Holidays

The Food Bank of Northwest Indiana is providing holiday food assistance to more than 800 families during its annual “Hope For The Holidays” Mobile Markets. The Lake County distribution will take place on Saturday, December 14th, 8am -10am, at the Food Bank, 6490 Broadway, Merrillville. 300 Thanksgiving Meals from Strack & Van Til and Partners

Strack & Van Til and several of their vendors partner with the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana to provide 300 local families in need with Thanksgiving meal assistance. The Mobile Market food distribution will provide individuals and families with food for a complete Thanksgiving meal, including a turkey, vegetables, and other side items.
