Through the Joy in Childhood Foundation, Dunkin’ Brands focuses on bringing joy to sick and hungry kids. To reflect this mission, the Dunkin’ Brands Midwest Chapter visited the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana on Thursday, October 19, to present a donation of $10,000. These funds will be used to ensure that children throughout the Region have the nutrition they need.

In addition to this generous donation, employees from Dunkin’ Brands Midwest Chapter spent the day volunteering their time to aid in the fight against hunger. This hard-working group of volunteers sorted and packed hundreds of meals for kids and families in need across the Region.

“We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from Dunkin Donuts, both financially and through the volunteer group they bring each year,” said Steve Beekman, Executive Director for the Food Bank. “With community partners like them, we are able to make an even greater impact in the fight against hunger in Northwest Indiana.”
