More than 100,000 individuals in Lake and Porter Counties are considered food insecure, meaning they lack regular access to the good nutritious food they need. During the holiday season that need is even more apparent. Hope for the Holidays is an annual effort to meet this need and provide even more meals to the hungry kids, adults, and seniors across the Region.
And thanks to a generous matching gift from Berman Infiniti of Merrillville, your donation will have double the impact when you sign up or increase your monthly gift during #GivingFoodsDay. Click here to learn more and join now!

Holiday Food Distribution – 2016
DECEMBER 10, 9am – 12pm | St. Mary Hildebrandt Hall, Griffith (525 N Lafayette Street)
DECEMBER 17, 9am – 12pm | Christ Lutheran Church, Valparaiso (2610 N Campbell)
These special distributions help provide meals to an additional 1,000 individuals during the holiday season. They are open to the public, but distribution is first come, first served while supplies last. Residents of Lake and Porter Counties need to bring proof of residency (ID, rent receipt, utility bills, etc…) and are encouraged to bring their own bags and boxes to carry items.
Interested in volunteering for one of the distributions? Contact Jaymie at firstname.lastname@example.org or 219.980.1777 ext. 316 to learn more about group and individual opportunities and sign up today.
