Partner

Partner Agencies

The Food Bank of Northwest Indiana works with more than 100 food pantries and soup kitchens to distribute food to Lake and Porter County residents. Neighbors who are in need of food assistance can search their nearest pantry on the Pantry Locator map. Hours of operation and contact information is available. Due to holidays or emergency closures, neighbors are encouraged to call ahead to confirm the time and date of the pantry and receive additional information. For additional information, please contact the Food Bank at 219.980.1777 x309.

Food Rescue

Retail Rescue

Every year nearly 40% of the country’s usable food supply ends up in the trash. At the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana, we don’t believe good food should go to waste, so we work with more than 40 local retail stores and restaurants to rescue this food from going to the landfill and put it on the plates of our hungry neighbors.

Every week Food Bank drivers are out in the community rescuing good food so it can be redistributed to pantries, soup kitchens, and other partner agencies across Lake and Porter counties.
