Food Bank of Northwest Indiana, NIPSCO and Round the Clock Partner to Feed More Hungry People During the Holidays
On Friday, December 2, The Food Bank of Northwest Indiana kicked off its annual Hope for the Holidays effort at a special breakfast event at Round the Clock Restaurant in Highland. Community leaders helped greet guests, serve coffee, and spread greater awareness of the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana’s mission of fighting hunger in Northwest Indiana. NIPSCO, sponsor of this year’s Hope for the Holidays, presented a $10,000 donation to the Food Bank during the event.

The Hope for the Holidays campaign is meant to activate the community around hunger in Northwest Indiana and raise funds to help meet the growing need for food assistance during the holiday season. Through a variety of fundraising events, special food distributions, and the support of generous individuals and community partners, the Food Bank will feed an additional 1,000 individuals and families during the month of December.
