The Food Bank of Northwest Indiana is pleased to announce the arrival of our new Executive Director, Victor A. Garcia. Victor comes with a wealth of experience and executive leadership in the nonprofit and business sector. Victor plans to execute the strategic priorities of the Food Bank and lead the organization in the next stages of growth, increasing our impact and service to the community.

Victor recently served as Vice President, Strategic Partnerships at Mental Health America of Northwest Indiana. His experience includes both nonprofit and corporate management, as well as serving as Past President of the Highland Chamber of Commerce, and being named a Professional to Watch by BusINess Magazine. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from the Indiana Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Strategic Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. Victor is an alumnus of Leadership Northwest Indiana and is a Certified Fundraising Executive. He also serves as a Board Member for the School Board of Highland. Victor and his wife, Monica, live in Highland and enjoy hiking, overnight relays, live music, and cooking together. They have two children and three dogs.
